Air Conditioning Re-Gas — done properly
A proper re-gas is more than topping up gas. We run a deep vacuum to remove spent refrigerant and moisture, leak-test the system under vacuum, then recharge with the exact manufacturer-spec refrigerant — R134a or the newer 1234yf — plus an oil top-up and UV dye to spot future leaks. The system is then re-tested to confirm it's blowing ice cold.

How often should I re-gas my car air conditioner?
As a guide, every 1.5–2 years. Refrigerant slowly escapes over time even in a healthy system, so a regular re-gas keeps cooling at its best. If cooling has dropped off sooner, you may have a leak worth checking.
My AC blows warm air — what's wrong?
The most common causes are low refrigerant (often from a small leak), a faulty compressor, a blocked condenser or an electrical fault. We diagnose the exact cause before quoting any repair.
Do you service all makes and models?
Yes. We service Australian, European and Asian makes — from Toyota, Mazda and Ford to BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Land Rover — using manufacturer-spec refrigerant and oils.
Do you handle the newer 1234yf refrigerant?
Yes. We're equipped for both older R134a systems and the newer R1234yf refrigerant fitted to most cars built from around 2017 onwards.
Why does my air conditioning smell musty?
That smell is usually bacteria and mould in the evaporator and cabin filter. Our deodorising service replaces the cabin filter and treats the system so it blows clean, fresh air again.
